Built in forty hours at VandyHacks, SurgeonAI watches a practice procedure through an inexpensive webcam and gives visual and spoken feedback.
I led the team and worked across the interface, backend, and computer-vision pipeline. The challenge was making feedback arrive when it was useful, rather than constantly interrupting the trainee. Our prototype won Best in Healthcare.
